Since our beginning, we have always invested a large portion of our revenues into research and development. Our production lines include LCD monitors, LCD Touch Panel Monitors, LCD TV and MPEG 4 Flash Card Reader displays for desk computers and home TV. All our products have FCC, ROHS and CE approval. Let your imagination run free as your television transforms into a web-enabled home entertainment system and your work place comes alive with user-friendly display tools.
Product portfolio
Winsonic offers a comprehensive portfolio of industrial LCD monitors and panel PCs. This includes flat panel monitors, rack monitors, open-frame displays as well as touch display variants and all-in-one panel PCs. The range covers numerous sizes from compact 6.5″ models to large screens (up to 42″). Typical series include the fanless BC Panel PCs with integrated Intel CPUs as well as specialised open-frame series (e.g. ‘OF’) and built-in monitors from the ICH series. Many products are also available with high brightness and wide viewing angles (sunlight readability, HD resolution).
The range also includes robust fanless embedded PCs and box PCs for industrial use. These all-in-one systems support wide temperature ranges (e.g. -20 °C to +70 °C) and protection classes such as IP65/IP66. For example, the BC series is designed to withstand vibrations and shocks in accordance with MIL-STD-810F and has high-quality heat sinks without fans. Optional additional features include M12 connectors sealed on one side, isolated power supply (9-36 V DC) and integrated RFID readers for automation applications.
Typical applications
Winsonic displays cover a wide range of industrial applications. They are used as human-machine interfaces (HMI) in mechanical engineering and automation – for example in control panels of production systems or CNC machines. They are also used in medical technology (e.g. as monitors in diagnostic or laboratory systems), in the POS/retail sector (as kiosks or checkout displays) and in digital signage for dynamic signage and advertising. Thanks to their robust design and optional touch function, Winsonic products are also used in harsh environments, for example in transport applications. The 21.5″ industrial monitor ICH2155 is available with an IP65 front and resistive touchscreen as standard. Additional connection and interface options (e.g. VGA/HDMI, MIL-38999 connector) simplify integration into a wide range of industry solutions.
Advantages for professional users
Winsonic products offer several decisive advantages for B2B users. Firstly, Winsonic guarantees long-term availability and planning security thanks to a high level of in-house production and massive R&D investment. The screens are generally available for many years (‘long-term supply’), which is particularly important for industrial projects. On the other hand, international certifications ensure usability in a professional environment: CE, FCC and RoHS are standard. Many series also fulfil military and maritime standards (e.g. MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) and can therefore withstand harsh environmental influences such as vibration, shock and electromagnetic interference.
Winsonic components also score points for their durability: metal housings, optional front screens made of stainless steel or armoured glass and protection ratings up to IP66 ensure robustness against dust, water and chemicals. The LED backlight technology guarantees a long service life and consistent image quality in continuous operation. A worldwide sales and service network ensures fast delivery times and technical support for industrial customers.
Individualisation and integration options
Winsonic allows numerous customised adaptations. The modular devices can be equipped with various touchscreen technologies (resistive, projective-capacitive, IR). Options such as increased brightness, IR filters, optical bonding or special front panels (e.g. IP69K front) are also available. In terms of installation, Winsonic offers panel mounting, rack mounting or freely accessible open-frame variants. Various video inputs (VGA, DVI, HDMI) as well as flexible power supplies (9-36 VDC, 24-110 VDC) and industrial interfaces (COM, USB, LAN) ensure compatibility with common control systems. Fully customised solutions are also possible on request – for example with individual I/O layouts or special mounting options.
